The news had hit her small town with a sudden yet carefree force; students were excited about an extended spring break, and parents were wondering how long their children were going to be home.
Memorial Union: The heart of Madison

Iconic for its historic sunburst chairs, the Memorial Union Terrace has long been a focal point for the city of Madison, Wisconsin and all its residents. 65 degrees and sunny, with not a cloud in sight, nobody could turn Kayla down when offered the chance to talk about what the Terrace means to them.
Community by The Numbers

Overall, 73 percent of those surveyed agree to some degree that they feel included in the greater Madison community. Thirteen percent strongly disagree that they feel included in the community with discernable demographic divisions within this segment.
Madison Mallard’s Rebrand

When the Madison Mallards decided to rebrand a couple of years back, they wanted to go all in. Gone were the days of forest green and an angry, modern Maynard. It was time for a new color palette and a new feel going forward. Even though current Assistant GM Samantha Rubin wasn’t around for the beginning of the rebranding process, she knew how important this was for the team and the greater Madison area.
